The area of origin of the milk, the area of processing and production of “Mozzarella di Bufala Campana” PDO includes the following territory: the entire provinces of Caserta and Salerno and some municipalities in the provinces of Naples and Benevento, in Campania Region; some municipalities in the province of Frosinone, Latina and Rome, in Lazio region, as well as part of the territory of Foggia province, in Puglia region; the sole municipality of Venafro in Isernia province, in Molise region.
